WHAT IS PILATES?

Pilates is a form of exercise practiced routinely by athletes, celebrities, and rehabilitation specialists, as well as the average person with a desire to be in top physical condition. People seek out Pilates training because of is focus on the "core" muscles of the abdomin, back, and hips, as well as the proper alignment of the postural muscles that stabilize the spine. It is often used as a step-down from Physical Therapy because of this emphasis on proper alignment, posture, and stability.
 

Pilates is extremely effective at getting people motivated to be in their best physical and mental well-being, and keeping them there! Pilates exercises will lengthen and elongate the muscles of the body, resulting in a long and lean body that feels, looks, and is strong from the inside out!
